Terms & Conditions

By accessing or using the Flash Auto Sales website, mobile applications, and online bidding platform (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Services.

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Flash Auto Sales, a licensed New York dealer ("Flash Auto," "we," "us," or "our").

To place bids in our auctions, you must first register for an account. By registering, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age;
• You have provided accurate, current, and complete information during registration;
• You will maintain the security of your password and are responsible for all activity under your account;
• You have a valid government-issued photo ID and will present it at vehicle pickup.

No dealer license is required to bid — our auctions are open to the public.

All bids placed through the Services are binding offers to purchase the vehicle at the bid amount, plus applicable fees and taxes.

• Bids must meet or exceed the minimum next-bid amount shown on the vehicle detail page.
• The system auto-increments bids to the next valid amount. The highest bid at the close of the auction is the winning bid (subject to any reserve price).
• A vehicle may have a reserve price. If the highest bid does not meet or exceed the reserve, the vehicle may be declared "no sale."
• Flash Auto reserves the right to reject, cancel, or retract any bid placed in error, in bad faith, or in violation of these Terms.

Flash Auto Sales holds weekly public auctions every Friday at 9:00 AM Eastern Standard Time. Online bidding opens approximately 15 minutes prior to the auction start.

Each vehicle has a published auction start time and end time. Auctions may be extended at our discretion in the event of high last-minute bidding activity ("soft close").

Auction schedule is subject to change for holidays or special events. Updates will be posted on the website.

The highest bidder at the close of a live auction (where the reserve has been met) is the winning bidder. An invoice will be generated and made available in your account shortly after the auction closes.

• Payment must be received in full within 3 business days of the auction close.
• Accepted payment methods: bank wire transfer, ACH/eCheck, or in-person payment at our Queens location.
• A buyer's premium of 5% of the winning bid (minimum $200) is added to all sales.
• New York sales tax, title, and registration fees apply where required by law.

Failure to remit payment within 3 business days may result in cancellation of the sale, account suspension, and forfeiture of any deposit.

All vehicles sold through Flash Auto Sales are sold strictly "as-is, where-is" with no warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

We make every effort to provide accurate descriptions and photographs, but bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect vehicles in person before bidding or to engage a third-party inspection service. Mileage readings may not be actual on vehicles older than 10 model years per federal odometer disclosure rules.

Each listing discloses the vehicle's title status, including Clean, Rebuilt, Salvage, or Parts Only designations. Bidders should review this information carefully before placing a bid.

Flash Auto Sales will process the title transfer within 14 days of receiving full payment and required documentation. Out-of-state buyers are responsible for any titling, registration, and tax obligations in their home jurisdiction.

All sales are final. Once a bid is placed and accepted, it cannot be retracted. Once a vehicle is sold at auction, the sale cannot be cancelled by the buyer.

Any deposits submitted to participate in bidding are non-refundable, except where required by law or where Flash Auto cancels a sale for cause.

You agree not to:

• Engage in shill bidding — bidding on a vehicle to artificially inflate its price without intent to purchase;
• Collude with other bidders to suppress prices or fix auction outcomes;
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to place bids or scrape data;
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the auction platform or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension, bid cancellation, and referral to law enforcement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flash Auto Sales shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Services, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the greater of (a) the buyer's premium paid on the relevant transaction, or (b) $500.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
